TOP.24.I

$2,800.00

This sculptural piece materialized as clay descended, surrendering to gravity's pull in a moment of intentional release. TOP.24.I emerged with vertical rhythms and flowing contours. The deep indigo foundation creates a midnight landscape across the sculpture's surface, with glossy obsidian craters punctuating the steel blue terrain. At elevated points, stark white formations emerge like snowy peaks, their textural presence creating dramatic contrast against the dark indigo depths beneath. Ash from Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano is embedded within the glaze, infusing the piece with primordial material that speaks to earth's own creative processes.

Mounted on hand welded backing crafted by Taylor Forrest Studios in New York's Hudson Valley, the piece is completed by custom metalwork oxidized to a deep gunmetal black. The sculpture is illuminated by dimmable LED lighting, offering control over its luminous presence, and can be configured for either hardwire installation or plug in convenience.
